We’re partnering with a respected New Zealand commercial boatbuilder to source an experienced Vessel Fabricator / Engineer for their Whanganui-based yard. This is a full-time, permanent role working on high-spec commercial vessels with a solid schedule of new builds already locked in.

About the Opportunity

You’ll be fabricating and assembling structural and fit-out components across a range of aluminium vessels. Expect varied, hands-on work where accuracy, pride in workmanship, and clear communication make the difference.

We’re Interested In Hearing From:

• Fabricators, welders, and marine engineers with aluminium experience

• Candidates with exposure to commercial vessel builds, workboats, or high-end alloy fabrication

• Engineers from general fabrication environments wanting to transition into marine

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience welding and fabricating aluminium components

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, work to tight tolerances, and troubleshoot on the job
