Urgently Required - Auckland to Tokelau Return

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a suitably qualified Second Engineer for approximately 2 months work aboard their 68m, 1500+ GT, New Zealand flagged vessel.  Departing in mid September the vessel will travel to the Tokelau's stopping at three atolls to unload solar panels and building, materials before returning back to Auckland. 

The successful candidate will need to be available from the late of August through to the end of October. 

The Essentials:

• Current Cert. of Competency or Recognition -MEC 2 <3000 kW (STCW II/2)
• Current STCW Certificate of Medical Fitness
• Current STCW Ancillary Certificates to meet your CoC or CoR
• Hold New Zealand working rights.

The renumeration for this opportunity is:

• Daily rate when at sea = $750 NZD per day
• Daily rate when alongside = $600 NZD per day
  

This is a fixed term opportunity. There are no sponsorship opportunities and no commitment of ongoing employment when the vessel returns to New Zealand. If this does not fit your situation, please do not apply.
